Fletcher Studio Projects Recognized as Decade-Defining

The past decade has seen big change across San Francisco. The character of our waterfront is rapidly changing, a new stadium has arrived, and many of the city’s parks are getting updated. With 2020 right around the corner, John King, Urban Design Critic for the SF Chronicle, compiled the last decade’s “urban design high points”.

Twelve projects were selected and Fletcher Studio is honored to have two of our projects included, South Park and Dogpatch Ropewalk. We are thrilled to be among the recipients, and to work with such exceptional people.

Fletcher Studio looks forward to continuing to collaborate with our neighbors, design partners, and the communities of San Francisco and beyond. We will to continue to push the envelope and create environments that recognize and build upon the culture, history, and ecologies of each of our projects.

“[The] Ropewalk [is a] raffish mid-block passage. At once a bridge and a bioswale, it’s the rare walkway that makes you want to linger.” - John King, SF Chronicle
