Fletcher Studio is an award-winning landscape architecture and urban design collaborative, based in San Francisco’s Dogpatch neighborhood. We create sustainable open spaces and public places and bring meaning and delight into day-to-day life through the design process. We engage the imagination and creativity of clients, neighbors, and specialists, while simultaneously integrating this knowledge into rigorous and responsible solutions. Our parks, streetscapes and habitats are enduring places that are strengthened by the collective investment of everyone involved.

Offering comprehensive professional services in Landscape Architecture, Urban Design and Environmental Planning, our current projects include public open space, urban masterplanning and streetscapes, civic plazas, and landscapes for multi-family housing projects. Landscape Designer

Location: San Francisco, CA

Job #1

Duties:

  • Prepare landscape architectural Conceptual Design, Schematic Design and Design Development using AutoCAD and other design tools.

  • Assist in the preparation of landscape architectural construction documentation using AutoCAD and other design tools.

  • Conduct landscape architectural site analyses and compile and analyze data on site conditions including solar exposure, circulation, wind, etc.

  • Participate in Landscape Architectural brainstorming sessions, charrettes, community and on-site design workshops.

  • Refine design solutions with the use of hand sketching, physical modeling, digital sketching and digital modeling.

  • Create and work with digital site models. Prepare photo montages and model renderings.

Job requires Bachelor’s in Landscape Architecture, 6 months experience. Must be able to perform the job tasks, including having knowledge of AutoCAD.
