Shirley Chisholm Village
Shirley Chisholm Village provides 135 affordable homes in San Francisco’s Outer Sunset neighborhood, prioritizing school district educators and employees. Fletcher Studio designed two resident courtyard spaces, a public open space plaza and play area, and street improvements.
The design incorporates many playful elements, honoring the multi-use community space “Playland at 43rd Ave” that previously existed on the site.
